Dick Giordano is a master storyteller and an even better inker. He is best known as being Managing Editor of DC Comics in The Copper Age, as well as inking Crisis on Infinite Earths over George Perez' pencils and Action Comics during John Byrne's reboot in the 1980's. Original art page 6 of Batman: Dark Knight of the Round Table #1 from 1999.
Penciled by Giordano and inked by Bob Layton (of Iron Man fame), it is from this Elseworlds story featuring King Arthur. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of art used to publish the final comic book.
